The skills and knowledge needed to achieve the success that Myron Papadakis has achieved in careers in aviation and law are unmatched. After graduating from Central (NHS and swim team captain), he attended UNL on a full Navy scholarship, majoring in mechanical engineering while competing as a varsity swimmer. “Pappy” entered the Navy as an officer, served as a naval carrier pilot, and as a second tour R&D test pilot. Following the Navy, he flew for Delta Airlines. He qualified as a line captain to fly six different jet airliners. He logged 23,500 accident free hours during a 37 year flight career. While a Delta pilot, Myron completed a law degree in 1974 and has practiced for 38 years. He is and has been an adjunct law professor for 21 years. His trial law career has focused on aircraft accidents; he has evaluated, investigated, or litigated in excess of 450 aviation crash cases. He has written two reference textbooks and published at least 50 articles on aviation safety, product liability and litigation. He is a Fellow of the International Society of Air Safety Investigators. Several cases he has worked have been the source material for bother television and films.
