Central has allowed me to grow in ways I never thought possible, whether in leadership positions like class president or drama club president. I’ve grown a considerable amount throughout these 4 years. My passion for performance and entertainment has tripled as well, leading me to continue striving to make my mark on the artistic world. Special shoutout to Mr. Bouma, Ms. Cowan, Mr. Mead, and Mr. Baker for consistently pushing me to work hard.

The John Baylor ACT Prep class that I took helped me increase my ACT score, allowing me to earn an extra $5,000 per year of scholarship money! Without this class that the Central High School Foundation paid for, there is no way college would be affordable for me. I am very grateful to the Central High School Foundation for this opportunity.

Central became a place for me to explore and
create something new for myself. Being a part
of Eagle Broadcasting and The Register gave me both the skills and the courage to do new things
in broadcasting.

Because we do not have a pool at school for the swim team to practice in, the Central High School Foundation pays for access to the downtown YMCA. That way we can have practices in a place to learn properly. We can focus on techniques like how to improve our breathing patterns and swimming strokes.

Grace Weberg, Class of 2022

Once Upon a Mattress was my final show at Central, and in putting together the sound design, I grew to truly realize how lucky I was to attend Central and work with the equipment we have. We truly, at least from an audio perspective, are on a completely ditterent tier than every other school in the state without question. Oul facilities put us on level with some of the best theaters in Omaha. I truly can never be thankful enough that I was able to produce such high-level work at Central due to the support of the Foundation.
