Merrilee Moshier Miller was the driving force in 1997 in the reactivation of Central’s Alumni Association which was started in 1889 but had become defunct. In 1998 she oversaw the compilation and publishing of Central’s first Alumni Directory and directed the creation of numerous subcommittees which have resulted in a vibrant association. She earned a Master of Arts in English from the University of Nebraska at Omaha where she was the Wilfred Payne Scholar for the Humanities. With her varied community interests, she has served many organizations including the Omaha Public Library Board of Trustees, UNMC Chancellor’s Board of Counselors and the Operating Board of Munroe-Meyer Institute. She resides in Omaha and enjoys an active career in marketing, public relations, and communications.
