Jack K. Lewis, M.D., has served as volunteer physician for Central High’s sports programs for over 35 years. After receiving his first degree from Stanford University , he obtained his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine where he then served as a professor of internal medicine. He has chaired and served on numerous local, state, and national boards supporting educational activities in areas such as drug abuse, venereal disease, athletic injuries, and domestic abuse. Jack Lewis maintains a private medical practice in Omaha.
Jack passed away in 2016 at the age of 82.
