After her graduation from Central in 1924, Ms. Annuciata Garrotto traveled to Milan, Italy, where she studied voice, made her operatic debut, and became an international operatic diva, achieving roles in several operas, including Madama Butterfly, and others. Following her successful experiences internationally, she returned to the United States and achieved success performing in several venues in both New York and Chicago. Eventually, she and her husband formed a performing team and traveled internationally.
