Allan Noddle’s career in the food distribution industry saw him reach the industry’s pinnacle. After his graduation from UNL followed by his military service as a First Lieutenant in the Army, Alan returned to Omaha and joined Hinky Dinky Supermarkets where he became Executive Vice President and COO, then moving to Giant Foods in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where he became President/CEO, followed by his selection by Royal Ahold, the world’s most successful food provider located in the Netherlands, as President and CEO of its Support Division. Ahold selected him as the company’s Executive Vice President and appointed him to the Executive Board, resulting in his becoming the first American to be selected for that board in Ahold’s 114 year history. Allan moved to the Netherlands and traveled the world where he was responsible for the management of all of Ahold’s Latin America and Asian companies. Allan has also served as a board member and President of Daymon Worldwide, a global, retail branding and sourcing company, and chairman of Topco, the world’s largest cooperative buying organization. He also has served on the Boards of Junior Achievement, the Better Business Bureau, and the Jewish Community Center. He has also been a guest speaker and teacher working with consumer products companies and universities.
