Alexandra Hunt is an internationally recognized lead operatic soprano who performed with the Metropolitan Opera in New York, La Scala in Italy, and also in Germany, England, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, and Ireland. She recieved degrees from Vassar College and the Juilliard School of Music and studied at Sorbonne University in Paris. She taught at Rutgers University, Newark, New Jersey and Creighton University in Omaha. She has been profiled in over ten directories including “Foremost Women of the 20th Century,” “International Who’s Who in Music,” “International Professional Women,” and “Distinguished Americans.”
Alexandra passed away in 2006 at the age of 72.
