Adrian Westburg began her long career of service at Central High School shortly after graduating in 1920. For the next 52 years she worked with the attendance records, then as secretary, and finally for many years as office manger. Her attention to detail and her efficiency in directing Central’ s busy office during her tenure became legend. Always a devotee of the arts, she showed special talent with the violin and then the cello, playing in the Omaha Symphony. In retirement she has maintained a keen interest in the school and the administrators, teachers, and students whom she worked.
Adrian passed away in 2002 at the age of 100.
