About the
Mentorship Program
Introducing “The Convocation”! An alumni member mentorship program which pairs recent graduates with more established members of their Eagle community to provide valuable professional guidance and connections.
Just like the Central High School Foundation aims to lessen the opportunity gap for current Central High School students, we are also seeking to lessen the gaps systemic and growing inequity manifests in opportunity, networks, and access to adult relationships for our recent graduates. Not only will mentoring connect you with the wider Central High School alumni community, but it will also give you an opportunity to build a valuable connection with someone whose path you may not have crossed of your own accord.
Mentors are alumni who are more established in their career and are ready to provide a mentee with advice for navigating college, the military, a trade, or early career. Mentees are alumni who have graduated from Central High School within the past 10 years and are seeking mentorship during these valuable building years. Mentor-Mentee pairings will be arranged as best as possible based on professional overlap, shared experiences, and common interests.
As we are in the development stages of this program, we would love to plan to include you in our first class of Convocation mentors or mentees. Please submit your interest below, and keep an eye out for communication regarding pairings in the coming year!
